Teresa is a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Liberty University. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Ohio University. She has served for ten years as a school counselor. Teresa’s background also includes experience in teaching, residential substance abuse treatment, and social services.
Teresa applies a strength-based, holistic approach to counseling with an emphasis on person-centered and solution focused perspectives. She works closely with clients to assist them in reaching their goals and develop to their full potential.
Teresa enjoys working with children, teens, and adults. Teresa’s counseling interests include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, family issues, social and life skills, grief counseling, military families, trauma and Christian counseling. She is open to serving clients in individual, group, couples, and family sessions.
Teresa is a military spouse and lives near Dayton with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
