Samantha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University (Oxford) and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. By applying a holistic approach with emphasis on person-centered and solution-focused perspectives, she works closely with clients in order to assist them in reaching their goals and their highest potential through self-growth. She believes that a strong client-counselor relationship is crucial to the success of counseling.
Samantha enjoys working with a diverse clientele of adults, teens, and children struggling with issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, self-esteem issues, social skills, sexuality issues, and preteen/teen social and life skills. She is open to individual, couple, and family sessions.
When she is not perusing her passion of helping others, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also practices self-care by staying active and skating for the Gem City roller derby team.
