Judy received her MA in Counseling from University of Cincinnati in 1989. She has enjoyed working with clients to promote better mental health and find solutions to difficult situations.
Judy utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Brief Therapy techniques when applicable. The foundational piece for her therapy approach is Person-Centered Therapy. From a spiritual standpoint, Judy’s focus comes out of the 12-Step perspective but she is sensitive to each client’s path and individual needs.
Judy enjoys working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief and substance abuse. Her approach is based on loving the clients until they can love themselves.
